September · Architecture
The achievements of Western Civilization, taught daily.
SMARTER Acuity publishes two short, high-accuracy essays every day. Each one is the surface of a fully cited webpage that lives here. Those same pages grow two living yearly ebooks. Follow along on social; study the record on this site.
The dual-write
What is SMARTER Acuity?
S.M.A.R.T.E.R. is seven permanent pairs. Every public day occupies one pair — morning on one side, evening on the other — under that month’s root. The pair keeps a conversation in motion. The month supplies the ground: Architecture in September, Philosophy in October, and so on through a twelve-month calendar.
Within a day, the first essay leads and the second answers. Across days, the evening essay foreshadows the next morning. That is the dual-post weave: a year of short public writing that still holds together as an argument.
Every public post is the surface of a deeper, fully cited webpage. The feed is how most people first meet the work. The webpage is the work itself — sources, argument, and the longer explanation. Those pages remain here, and they accumulate into two living ebooks as the year unfolds.
The seven pairs are permanent. The monthly roots rotate. Every webpage is tagged with both.

September Architecture
Foundations of building and form — how a civilization houses itself, and what those houses teach.

Order made inhabitable
Western building is a theory of order you can walk through. The Greek temple, the Roman vault, the Gothic rib, the Renaissance facade — each one answers the same human problem: how a free people gathers, worships, remembers, and plays.
The first public launch day is Sunday, 6 September 2026, with the Science ↔ Sports pair under the Architecture root. Week one opens at the Colosseum.

Every September page, gathered. Foundations of building and form, from the first launch week onward.
Two volumes, one year
The two living ebooks
The same webpages that feed the daily posts also feed two manuscripts. By August 2027, the year has become two books.
